Question: Mail Bomber works just fine but I am having a problem sending an email message to a particular email address. I am getting the [550 Invalid Recipient] error. How can I resolve the problem?

Brief Answer: This is not a problem; it means that the address either is dead or has an antispam filter that rejects your messages; exclude the address from your mailing list

Answer: This can be happening because this address is not available, does not exist anymore or is not accepting mail temporarily at this moment. There can also be other reasons for this message to appear. Here are a few things that are also common reasons for this:

  • You might have an antivirus running that is scanning all your outgoing emails and attachments. You can check that in the antivirus settings and disable scanning outgoing mail (leave scan of incoming mail).
  • Some software firewalls can block port 25 on your local computer. It can be by default or you chose to set it up. If you have one of those, you might want to check this setting.
  • Your provider can be blocking or intentionally slowing down your connection to "combat spam". In their view, anybody who is sending either large pieces of mail or a lot of them is a potential spammer. When mail goes through their servers, where they can filter and scan each message they have a much lower risk, because they are in control. Because of that many ISP's now take the approach of limiting traffic on the SMTP port 25.
