Disable Access to File URLs in Internet Explorer

Normally you can use the Internet Explorer address bar to access standard files and folders. This setting disables that functionality and only allows access to Internet URLs.

The "Remove the Run Command from the Start Menu" option must be turned on as well to activate this restriction (See the Start Menu section). Option affects selected user, see the status bar. Reboot your PC to activate or deactivate this option.
